Voorouders laten hun sporen na. Ik zocht ze. Vaak vond ik er vele. Hoe verder  ik 

     in de tijd terugging, hoe schraler de oogst  dikwijls  werd. Aan het samenstellen van een stamboom komt nooit een echt einde.
